Gap Check · no charge · no meeting needed

How far are you behind the competitor AI recommends? Ask for a Gap Check report.

Tell us your website and the market you want measured, or your largest market. Genivista puts twelve of your buyers' questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and sends you the report, at no charge. You don't need to book a call.

Gap Check: key facts

  • What it measures: the Gap, in points, between your company and the direct competitor AI names most often.
  • What we need: your website and one market (for example Ireland, the UK or the US). Nothing else.
  • How: 12 buyer questions written blind, asked live on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, giving 36 answers.
  • What you get: a report you can read in two minutes, with every answer behind every number.
  • Cost and commitment: no charge, no meeting and no obligation.

What happens when you request a Gap Check?

You send your website and the market you want measured. Everything else is set by the method, so the result cannot flatter you, and you receive the report without having to meet anyone.

  1. Questions written blind

Twelve questions are written from your category alone, without your name, your website's wording or your competitors: three for each of the four roles on a buying committee, across shortlist, evaluation and decision.

  2. Asked live

Each question is put to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity as a separate, memory-free request with web search on, from your market. That gives 36 answers, plus three name checks on how AI describes you.

  3. Report sent to you

You receive a private link to your Gap Check report: the Gap, who AI recommends instead, and the actual answers behind every number. If you would like to talk it through, Neil will, but you don't have to.

What is in a Gap Check report?

A two-minute summary for your leadership team, followed by the evidence behind it.

The Gap, in points

How far you are behind the direct competitor AI names most often, and what that means for your place on the shortlist.

The buying committee

Whether AI names you to the CFO or CEO, the person who owns the problem, the systems lead and procurement.

Who you are really up against

Whether AI puts you in the right conversation, with real alternatives, or steers buyers towards a different segment.

When prospects look you up

Whether AI describes the right company when a prospect asks about you by name.

The answers themselves

Every number links to the real answers behind it, as a first-time buyer would see them.

The method, stated

The questions, platforms, date and margin of error, so anyone on your team can check how the result was reached.

What does a Gap Check report look like?

This is the first screen of a Gap Check for a fictional company, Brightwater Systems, selling medical device quality management software in Ireland. The full report continues with the buying committee, competitors, sources and the method: read the complete sample report.

All names and numbers here are fictional. Genivista never publishes client results without written permission.

Sample Gap Check summary for a fictional company: 52 points behind the competitor AI recommends most.

What happens after you read the report?

That is up to you. If the Gap is worth closing, the next step is a Gap Audit: a seven-day, fixed-fee diagnosis of why each answer is lost and what to fix first, by whom. If it is small, or not worth closing yet, you have learnt where you stand. There is no obligation and no automated follow-up sequence.

How precise is a Gap Check?

Precise enough to size the Gap, not to track small movements. With 36 answers, the margin of error is about ±13 points. The Gap Audit uses six buyer personas across five AI platforms to set a firmer baseline, and each quarterly Gap Pulse reruns it.

Why is there no meeting?

Because the report should speak for itself. It is written to be read in two minutes by a CEO, with every number open to check. A conversation is there if you want one.
